Been here before? Newest Artwork on ATC page Page 2 and Page 4 (oldest work on last pages)
During the course of my several decades in this world, I have played and dabbled in many fields of Art and Crafts going thru' an extended period of making and designing patterns for Cloth Dolls, which then led me into Art Dolls, both of which I have been a tutor of. I have made Ploymer Clay Characters, thanks to one of Australia's greatest tutors in this field, Shirley Dougan.
I was
experiencing a creative "black hole" in my life, when
a few years ago, my dear friend Bevlea Ross came to play with me
and enlightened me of the pleasures of playing with paper, stamps,
and pearly paints.
My collection of fabrics and related items
have now found their way to help others who are still experiencing
fabric addiction and my "Creative Space" is now filling
up with "toys" of a different kind. Barb , Wagga Wagga NSW |

I have arrived at Altered Art via a long and pleasurable journey through Ceramics, Folk Art, Macrame, Knitting, Crochet, Porcelian Dolls, making, teaching and designing Cloth Dolls, Counted Cross Stitch and varied other Needlearts - some of these I still do - others were the odd wrong turn in arriving where I am today Nothing I have tried though, gives me as much pleasure as the freedom on creating a peice of Altered Art where 'I can do no wrong'. No rules, no patterns, no stress, just the pleasure of creating something using colour, texture, and all those bits of paper I couldn't bring myself to throw out..which in itself has spawned a new addiction - rubber stamping and image collecting! Bevlea, Melbourne, Victoria
My name is Carolyn Ann Biletziclis Neé Dixon and was born in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire in England and emigrated to Australia with my parents in 1967. I am an only child, left handed and an Aquarian. My interests are reading, writing, creating, day dreaming and studying esoteric matters. I belong to a wonderful circle of women and we meet to celebrate the Solstices, Equinoxes, Full Moons and Dark Moons, share good food, stories and friendship. Life is good, full, busy and beautifully enhanced by belonging to Paper Queens and the fun of Ancient Echoes
